Right Hook Fishing Charters, Florida
DRIFT FISHING ($70 per person)
Drift fishing is one of the most productive ways to consistently catch fish in the waters off of Palm Beach. Our charter starts with a short 15 minute ride offshore. Every angler has his own fishing rod and gets to experience the thrill of feeling the fish bite. While drift fishing, we will be bottom fishing primarily for snapper, grouper and kingfish, however, many other species are caught in the process including: dolphin, cobia and the occasional sailfish. Drift fishing/bottom fishing is our primary charter, though our charter boat is available for many other types of deep sea charters.
TROLLING
Trolling involves pulling lures or rigged dead bait behind the charter boat at different speeds depending on the species of fish being targeted. Our crew always rigs our own baits so you can be assured you will get the best chance at catching the trophy fish you desire. We use top quality tackle and have gear ranging from light to heavy. Whether you are searching for dolphin, sailfish or wahoo, we have everything for you to get the most enjoyment and excitement out of your deep sea fishing experience.
KITE FISHING - LIVE BAIT
We offer kite fishing using live bait. The process involves flying a kite with lines attached to clips to keep the live bait just on the surface of the water. There is nothing like watching the live bait dancing on the surface when a sailfish comes up and slams it. Kite fishing is one of the most effective ways to catch sailfish.
SWORDFISH CHARTERS
Swordfish are one of the biggest game and most desired gamefish in Florida. Averaging 90 pounds and common over 200 pounds, they are one of the most exciting deep sea fish to catch. Our swordfish charter starts around 6:00 pm and lasts until 2:00 - 3:00 am. It involves traveling about 20 miles offshore and fishing in 1200 - 1700 feet of water. Four rods are used at varying depth with underwater lights and glow sticks. Captain Frank has worked on swordfish longline boats off of the Florida coast and is considered one of the best sword fishermen in the West Palm area.
